Innovar welcomes Brian Sorbe as new CRO

As of February 2025, Brian Sorbe joined the Innovar team as our new Chief Revenue Officer. Brian previously worked as a business unit lead with Topcon Precision Agriculture, managing all ag-related business functions in North and South America. He has over 25 years of experience developing and commercializing technology advancements and creating value for farmers around the world. 

In his new role at Innovar, Brian leads Innovar’s global market expansion efforts and oversees corporate business operations at a global level. When asked about the new role, Brian says, “I’ve known Innovar and many members of the team for several years. I’m a firm believer the massive opportunity Innovar has to disrupt not only the enhanced efficiency fertilizer market, but many other niche sectors in soil fertility. The timing was right for me to join the team and help usher in this next stage of unparalleled growth and expansion.”

New General Manager, Asia

Innovar welcomes Setagawa Masayuki as new GM, Asia

As of January 2025, Setagawa “Masa” Masayuki joined the Innovar team as our new General Manager of Asia in Tokyo, Japan. Masa previously worked in research and development on BB fertilizer compatibility and handled trading and supplier negotiations in a fertilizer raw materials role. He also collaborated with research institutions and manufacturers while working at a Japanese startup business specializing in drone remote sensing.

In his new role at Innovar, Masa leads Innovar’s market expansion efforts in Asia, developing customer-focused strategies, and overseeing business operations in the region. According to Masa, “I’m most excited to contribute to Innovar Ag’s growth in Asia, helping the company tap into new opportunities and make a meaningful impact in the agricultural sector.”

Outside of Innovar, Masa enjoys traveling around Asia and exploring local cuisines and beers. He is also a big Giants fan and loves catching games!
